As a child in Latvia, the Baltics, I was drawn to the Mediterranean sea, dreaming of living by its shores. Eventually, my wish came true, and I spent three years residing in the south of Italy. However, I soon realized that, while the sea was incredible, I missed the lush greenery of my homeland in Latvia. The southern coast felt unfamiliar and failed to resonate with me.
That’s when I discovered Langhe—a captivating region that I’ve grown to adore. The wine landscapes here are awe-inspiring, with each vineyard representing the dedicated work of humans. Nestled in the hills, the charming towns coexist harmoniously with nature, embodying the essence of slow living. Adorned by majestic castles, the hills of Langhe gracefully embrace all four seasons. Being accustomed to a continental climate in the north, experiencing the diverse seasons in Langhe brings me a sense of comfort. In every aspect, I find Langhe to be perfect, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share its wonders with others.
