A different kind of Langhe experience
A private balloon ride gives your visit another dimension. From the Barolo area, the hills become a patchwork of fields and vineyards; back on the ground, there is time to discover the wines, villages and people that give this place its character.
Your exclusive flight is reserved for you and your companions, with the pilot. It is a lovely idea for a couple, an anniversary or a small gathering of friends. Share what you are celebrating with Olga, and ask which personal touches can be arranged separately.
There is no fixed sightseeing circuit. The pilot manages the flight, while wind direction shapes where you travel. Treat the landscape as a discovery: individual castles, villages and vineyard views depend on the route and visibility.
As your local Langhe expert, I’ll help you find the right private balloon experience, coordinate the arrangements with a professional flight operator, and make sure everything fits beautifully into your stay.
And if you’d like to continue discovering the region after your flight, I can also help you arrange exceptional winery visits, memorable lunches and authentic experiences in the heart of the Langhe.
All flight operations and safety decisions remain entirely in the hands of your professional pilot.
From first message to first view
Leave enough room in your trip for the flight to fit naturally. Olga helps you put the day together and confirm the practical details.
Share your dates, number of guests, where you are staying and the occasion. Mention flexibility in your schedule.
Review your quotation, private arrangement, inclusions, passenger requirements and weather terms before booking.
Follow your meeting instructions and the pilot’s pre-flight briefing. The pilot decides whether conditions allow take-off.
After landing and the return, continue at your own pace, or add a separately arranged experience with Olga.
Make it your journey
A flight can be the highlight of a longer stay. These are ideas to discuss, rather than included packages: each needs its own timing, quotation and availability check.
A glimpse of the experience
A few perspectives from the sky. Every flight follows its own route, with views shaped by the wind and the light.

A romantic escape for two. An anniversary you’ll never forget. A birthday surprise, a marriage proposal, or simply a beautiful moment shared above the vineyards.
A private hot air balloon flight over the Langhe is more than an experience — it’s a memory that stays with you long after you’ve returned to the ground.
With the rolling hills, historic villages and vineyard-covered landscapes unfolding beneath you, every flight offers a unique perspective on one of Italy’s most enchanting wine regions.
Plan with confidence
Flights may be possible across the year, subject to conditions and confirmation. Morning departures are the option to discuss in summer; seasonal late-day flights may be possible at other times. A specific departure time or sunset flight needs confirmation.
Allow around an hour aloft and a generous half-day for the whole experience. Avoid a tightly timed lunch, onward train or flight immediately afterwards. If your visit is short, discuss an alternative date and the weather cancellation terms before booking.
Wear practical outdoor clothes, a hat and sturdy flat shoes. Launch and landing fields can be wet. Participation requirements for children, passenger weight, health concerns and mobility needs must be checked before the flight is confirmed.
If children are travelling, tell Olga their ages and heights so eligibility can be checked before booking. Pregnancy and inability to hold the required landing position are among the flight exclusions. Confirm the full requirements and follow the pilot’s instructions.
Tell Olga where you will be staying and whether you need help arranging transport. Hotel pick-up and travel from another city are separate from the flight’s return to the launch field. Confirm logistics before committing to an early meeting time.

Useful answers for planning a private hot air balloon experience in the Langhe. Your booking confirmation and the pilot’s instructions provide the final details.
The exclusive option reserves the basket for your party, with the pilot on board. It is different from buying seats on a shared flight. Tell Olga how many people are travelling so a suitable private arrangement can be confirmed.
The experience takes place in the Barolo area of the Langhe, in Piedmont, Italy. Your exact meeting and launch location will be confirmed before the flight. Tell Olga where you will be staying when you enquire.
Expect around one hour in the air. Allow a generous half-day window for meeting, preparation, the flight, landing and return. Confirm the schedule for your booking before arranging another activity.
Morning flights are the option to discuss in summer; seasonal late-day flights may be possible at other times. Exact timing depends on the date and conditions. Ask Olga about your preferred light and wait for confirmation before planning around it.
A balloon travels with the wind, so its route and landing point cannot be booked like a road itinerary. Views depend on wind direction and visibility. A particular village, vineyard or castle is never guaranteed.
The pilot decides whether conditions allow the flight. If weather prevents take-off, rescheduling may be possible. Before booking, confirm the applicable rescheduling, cancellation and refund terms, including what happens if another date does not fit your trip.
Tell Olga the ages and heights of any children before booking so participation requirements can be confirmed. Mobility and accessibility needs must also be discussed in advance. Participation depends on suitability for the flight and the required landing position.
Flying is not permitted during pregnancy, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or when a passenger cannot hold the required landing position. A restriction also applies after scuba diving in the previous 48 hours. Any health or mobility concerns need assessment before booking; the pilot determines suitability.
Choose practical outdoor clothing and sturdy flat shoes suitable for a field, which may be wet. Bring a hat and dress for the season. Follow your final clothing and baggage instructions; avoid high heels.
Ask Olga to plan a separate wine, food or village experience around the confirmed flight schedule. Winery visits, meals, hotel transfers and guide services are separate arrangements unless expressly included in your quotation. Leave room for weather changes.
Request a tailored quotation for your dates and party. Confirm the private flight, inclusions, any passenger requirements, optional transfers and separate activities before booking. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a flight or confirm availability.
